Full Metal Cruise XIII Part I
-
Alestorm are Scotland's loudest bunch of drunken pirates and have been blasting out pirate metal since 2004. Their shows are like a stranded party with ducks, rum and total chaos. Imagine Jack Sparrow with a keytar and a hangover – that's exactly what it's like. They've hijacked the charts and festivals by turning every audience into a pirate crew. There's no smooth sailing on this cruise, just cannon fire from beer and riffs.

-
A band so furious it could easily drown out the roar of a spinning ship propeller? Sailors, stand at attention — Danko Jones are taking command now. The Canadian Duracell Rockers bring their latest album “Leo Rising” on board, pushing the pool deck to overflowing and the theater to its electrical limits. Full throttle sea state — overdrive engaged!

-
Cruisaders, we’ve found the perfect man to join our dream ship. Don’t believe us? Okay: He’s funny, he’s musical, and he’s definitely got a whole lot of Metal running through his veins. What more could you possibly want? Bülent Ceylan hasn’t just discovered his love for Hard Rock yesterday, so it’s only logical that he’ll be taking the wheel—and the captain’s hat—for Part 1 of our Cruise. Aye aye, Captain!

-
Destruction have been blasting away since 1982 and still hit harder than any ship's cannon. As part of the ‘Big Teutonic Four’, they practically wrote the thrash metal handbook themselves. Their riffs are so sharp they could cut through any anchor chain. Decades on tour have turned them into an indestructible metal warship. When Destruction get going, even Poseidon grabs a beer and jumps into the mosh pit.

-
Try to hide. Try to run. In the end, Dr. Dead and his horde of zombies will find you anyway. And right where things would normally get seriously bloody, Dominum will blast their highly melodic Power Metal straight into your ears. Who knew zombies and ships could be such a perfect combination? Find out for yourself—and whatever you do, don’t get bitten by the wrong ones.

-
The Baboon Show have been causing a frenzy since 2003 and are Sweden's punk rock torpedoes. Their mix of pure energy and political explosiveness crashes like a broadside into an enemy fleet. Frontwoman Cecilia has the stage presence of a captain in a storm, steering the chaos. They have laid clubs and festivals in ruins and sweat worldwide. On board, this cruise will turn into a mutiny full of punk rock madness.

-
Anyone who thinks that kisses at sea are mostly about farewells is mistaken. Let’s welcome the Kyiv Rockers around frontwoman Julija Sanina on board. The Hardkiss stand for explosive live performances and a truly addictive take on heavy guitar music. And in the end, of course, there will still be a bittersweet kiss goodbye when the band leaves the ship.

-
You can never have enough fire aboard our cozy Metal cruiser. And if any band knows their way around flames, it’s the Swiss Hard Rock witches Burning Witches. With Hard Rock straight out of the golden 1980s, they’ll ignite not only the Pool Stage but also the hearts of every battle-vest-wearing Cruisader on board.

-
-
A voice weathered by the sea and a healthy dose of whiskey. Songs that get under your skin and tell stories of friendship, pain and love. And music powerful enough to capsize a fully loaded container ship. That’s Rauhbein. The pirate captains of this musical crew are a true force of nature—and more than ready to take on whatever moods the seven seas might throw at them.

-
Victory have been rocking since the early 80s and have never taken their foot off the gas. Their hard rock anthems are made for raising fists, spilling drinks and screaming until dawn. They've shared the stage with legends and still sound like a battleship at full speed. No frills, just straight-ahead riffs that crash in like storm waves. Victory don't play concerts – they take the stage and tear it apart.

-
Amid all the idyllic moments life at sea offers, sometimes you want things to get heavier? With a serious list to starboard — and we really mean serious impact here? Luckily Hiraes, led by frontwoman Britta Görtz, are true experts in that department. Cruisaders, we hope your insurance is up to date — a few prayers to Poseidon won’t be enough once this pit erupts. This Death Metal storm won’t pass our ship anytime soon — and honestly, we wouldn’t want it to.

-
“Band X has practically become part of the furniture.” How many times have we read that sentence? How many band biographies have used those exact words? But rarely have they been as true as when we’re talking about Skyline and the Wacken universe. The Wacken originals and their good-vibes admiral Dan Hougesen have always had one mission: Get those hips moving, those vocal cords vibrating and those devil horns into the air. Their track record? Flawless. Next round: Full Metal Cruise.

-
Ozzyfied celebrate the legendary Ozzy Osbourne with passion and attitude. Fronted by Henning Wanner, the band brings that special Ozzy feeling to every stage, delivering a performance that stays true to the original while infusing it with their own energy. Their shows bring generations of rock fans together and they have amassed one of the most loyal fan bases among the metalheads of the W:O:A universe!

-

-
Date idea: You and us at one of the countless Vika Goes Wild shows taking place all across the ship. Why those shows in particular? Because Vika carries the spirit of Heavy Metal into her playing and combines it with a power that’s completely her own. The result is the perfect whirlwind of Metal, intensity and pure emotion. If you don’t fall in love here, that’s on you!

Straight from the Swiss mountains, a massive wave of Modern Metal is washing over our decks: Broken Fate! Founded in Zurich in 2007, this crew is setting a direct course for the cruise to blast you with a storm-tested broadside of Thrash Metal, Metalcore, and uncompromising Hard Rock.

-
Has anyone ever made a movie about aliens hijacking a ship packed with Metalheads, entertaining them in the most outrageous ways imaginable with ten days of handmade Rock’n’Roll, only to disappear back into orbit afterwards? No? Well, if we see that idea popping up anywhere soon, we’ll know exactly where to find you! Until then: Welcome aboard, aliens! Next stop Hollywood… uhhh, we mean Full Metal Cruise, of course.

-
Brace yourselves for an acoustic force of nature: Anett, Livi, and Éden Radó are hijacking the stage with a unique tribute to System of a Down! Armed only with acoustic guitars, a piano, and raw emotion, these three musicians will unleash the legendary SOAD anthems in an unplugged style right across the deck.

-
All hands on deck and hold on tight! As the Full Metal Cruise sets sail, the Cowgirls From Hell are bringing pure heavy metal straight from Birmingham, UK, to make the deck shake. A DJ set by these two British powerhouses is no smooth sailing in shallow waters – it’s a downright wild ride!

-
In any other context, that might sound like an absolute nightmare. But in our little universe, it’s a guarantee for good vibes, memorable one-liners and a DJ set that’ll properly blow the cobwebs out of your ears. DJ Hüby takes no prisoners, even on the high seas, through strong winds and a stiff breeze. And if things get a little rough? Well, that’s what a good Kümmel is for.

Ballroom Hamburg, DJ Hübi, DJ Otti, Adult, Concert, Crowd, Glasses, Male, Man, Person, Skin, Tattoo, Urban -
If you don’t just want to spin yarns on board but want to turn your vocal cords into a full-blown gale warning, the Growl Workshop with Britta Görtz (Hiraes) is the place to be! The frontwoman will show you in theory and practice how to unleash aggressive growls and emotional screams without ruining your voice on the high seas. Sound the foghorn, sign up with Britta, and set your vocals on the right course!
-
Got ink in your blood and riddles on your mind? FMC veteran Nori calls all hands on deck for the ultimate Tattoo Quiz to test your knowledge on the most legendary body art that ever went under the needle! Sign up, join the guessing game, and show the crew that you've got your sea legs when it comes to body art!

-
A man who has long been a fixture on Europe's heaviest metal cruise is, of course, joining our raiding party once again: Uwe Bahn! As an experienced host, DJ, and entertainer, he will navigate you through the onboard event program with nothing but good vibes and smooth sailing.

-

No ship without a Klabautermann. Ours is called Mambo Kurt. And because this isn’t exactly a normal ship, our Klabautermann doesn’t have a normal job either. Pure entertainment when the home organ starts running hot. The Pope of the Polonaise—or, as we know him back on dry land: The God of the Organ! Pack your dancing shoes and get some stretching in beforehand. Mambo is coming aboard and bringing the ultimate party to Part 2 of Full Metal Cr

Steering right out of the cold, dark north of Germany, a ruthless death machine is heading straight for the cruise: Messticator! This trio cruises through the European scene with a brutal hybrid of Death and Thrash Metal, having already left plenty of stages in absolute ruins following their debut album "Forthcoming Revelation." Batten down the hatches for a merciless broadside that will hook itself right into your ears like a grappling iron!

When this duo from Schwetzingen unpacks their acoustics, the splinters will fly: Tobi Vintage and Tommy Vox (T&T for short) are bringing their self-proclaimed "Heavy Unplugged" sound on board! These two musicians cover their way wildly and damn loudly through metal and rock history – from CCR and Die Ärzte to Manowar, every classic gets a completely new, storm-proven coat of paint. Paired with fast-paced original songs and witty banter, they will turn the deck into your favorite late-night pub in the blink of an eye.

-
Washed ashore straight from the legendary, iconic rock club at the Hamburg fish market, true Hanseatic legends are boarding the ship: the Ballroom Hamburg DJ Kollektiv! This renowned DJ crew is completely storm-tested. On this cruise, the Hamburg boys are taking the helm to unleash a massive party wave across the planks that won't leave a single foot resting.

-
Eclipse

-
Rauhbein

A voice weathered by the sea and a healthy dose of whiskey. Songs that get under your skin and tell stories of friendship, pain and love. And music powerful enough to capsize a fully loaded container ship. That’s Rauhbein. The pirate captains of this musical crew are a true force of nature—and more than ready to take on whatever moods the seven seas might throw at them.

-
Victory

Victory have been rocking since the early 80s and have never taken their foot off the gas. Their hard rock anthems are made for raising fists, spilling drinks and screaming until dawn. They've shared the stage with legends and still sound like a battleship at full speed. No frills, just straight-ahead riffs that crash in like storm waves. Victory don't play concerts – they take the stage and tear it apart.

-
Hiraes

Amid all the idyllic moments life at sea offers, sometimes you want things to get heavier? With a serious list to starboard — and we really mean serious impact here? Luckily Hiraes, led by frontwoman Britta Görtz, are true experts in that department. Cruisaders, we hope your insurance is up to date — a few prayers to Poseidon won’t be enough once this pit erupts. This Death Metal storm won’t pass our ship anytime soon — and honestly, we wouldn’t want it to.

-
Skyline

“Band X has practically become part of the furniture.” How many times have we read that sentence? How many band biographies have used those exact words? But rarely have they been as true as when we’re talking about Skyline and the Wacken universe. The Wacken originals and their good-vibes admiral Dan Hougesen have always had one mission: Get those hips moving, those vocal cords vibrating and those devil horns into the air. Their track record? Flawless. Next round: Full Metal Cruise.

-
Ozzyfied

Ozzyfied celebrate the legendary Ozzy Osbourne with passion and attitude. Fronted by Henning Wanner, the band brings that special Ozzy feeling to every stage, delivering a performance that stays true to the original while infusing it with their own energy. Their shows bring generations of rock fans together and they have amassed one of the most loyal fan bases among the metalheads of the W:O:A universe!

No ship without a Klabautermann. Ours is called Mambo Kurt. And because this isn’t exactly a normal ship, our Klabautermann doesn’t have a normal job either. Pack your dancing shoes and get some stretching in beforehand. Mambo is coming aboard and bringing the ultimate party to Part 2 of Full Metal Cr

Messticator (presented by Wacken Foundation)

Steering right out of the cold, dark north of Germany, a ruthless death machine is heading straight for the cruise: Messticator! Batten down the hatches for a merciless broadside that will hook itself right into your ears like a grappling iron!
-
Alien Rockin‘ Explosion

Has anyone ever made a movie about aliens hijacking a ship packed with Metalheads, entertaining them in the most outrageous ways imaginable with ten days of handmade Rock’n’Roll, only to disappear back into orbit afterwards? No? Well, if we see that idea popping up anywhere soon, we’ll know exactly where to find you! Until then: Welcome aboard, aliens! Next stop Hollywood… uhhh, we mean Full Metal Cruise, of course.

-

-
Mit ohne Strom

When this duo from Schwetzingen unpacks their acoustics, the splinters will fly: Tobi Vintage and Tommy Vox (T&T for short) are bringing their self-proclaimed "Heavy Unplugged" sound on board! These two musicians cover their way wildly and damn loudly through metal and rock history – from CCR and Die Ärzte to Manowar, every classic gets a completely new, storm-proven coat of paint. Paired with fast-paced original songs and witty banter, they will turn the deck into your favorite late-night pub in the blink of an eye.

DJ Hüby

In any other context, that might sound like an absolute nightmare. But in our little universe, it’s a guarantee for good vibes, memorable one-liners and a DJ set that’ll properly blow the cobwebs out of your ears. DJ Hüby takes no prisoners, even on the high seas, through strong winds and a stiff breeze. And if things get a little rough? Well, that’s what a good Kümmel is for.
