The man behind DJ Heidi is Sven Heidlas - production manager, longtime fixture in the Wacken universe, and one of those people who makes you wonder if he ever actually off the clock.

Normally, Heidi is the guy ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. But somewhere along the line, someone made the glorious mistake of letting him near the DJ booth. Ever since, we know: the man doesn't just manage production - he throws a proper party.

His musical approach follows a pragmatic, no-nonsense principle: less talk, more rock. Spin the record, drop the needle. Expect dry humor, a remarkably steady grin, and the enviably laid-back attitude of a guy who has likely solved backstage crises minutes before showtime that the rest of us are better off never knowing about.

On the Full Metal Cruise, Heidi trades production schedules for playlists and the backstage area for the open deck. What exactly will he play? We’ll find out. But that it’s gonna be a blast? Well, that’s his job, after all.
